Mami's Baghrir recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fine semolina
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp yeast
- ¾ tsp salt
- Pinch of sugar
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 2 cup warm water
Instructions
- Add all ingredients other than baking powder and vinegar in a bowl.
- Add 1.5 water, mix with a spoon, then blend with a hand blender.
- Add around 0.5 cup more warm water and blend again.
- Add baking powder and vinegar and blend again.
- Let rest for 20 minutes.
- Cook in dry frying pan and cover with lid when cooking. Don't flip.
- Coat in butter.
