A crunchy chocolate granola baked into clusters.
Ingredients
- 360 g rolled oats
- 50 g chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts)
- Whole nuts (almonds or walnuts) (handful)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- More dark chocolate (85%), to add after cooling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160 C.
- In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, and salt.
- Heat a small pot over medium-low heat and combine the honey, cocoa, coconut oil, and water.
- Cook for a few minutes until everything is dissolved.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the oat mixture and stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking sheet covered tray.
- Spread it evenly, press it down to flatten.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Let it cool for 1 to 2 hours.
- Break it into clusters and add dark chocolate.
